Journal Your Way to Weight Loss Success and a Bikini Model Body

If you are on a mission to achieve a Bikini Model Body you will be surprised that the formula is not rocket science once you truly understand how everything involved fits together. It is very simple in theory- It is all about forming and most importantly KEEPING good habits.  

Habit: A recurrent, often unconscious pattern of behavior that is acquired through frequent repetition.

One of the most relevant habits to focus on in the “fit equation” includes food planning and journaling. You can make a conscious effort to really understand your eating habits through the use of a food journal.

 To keep track of what you are putting into your body- write down WHAT you are eating throughout the day and most importantly, how much.

It also helps to jot down the mood you are in so you can see if you are eating out of emotion or necessity. Sure, this takes discipline and but you will reap both physical and psychological effects that will help you understand and improve your overall eating habits and weight loss success.

It's not really as much of a hassle either- simply carry around a small notebook in your handbag along with a pen to keep track! I usually write down the relative portion sizes of my meals, so I can really get an accurate portrayal of my daily intake.  I get the truest sense of what I am eating each day when I see the portion sizes jotted down. By simply writing down everything you consume with as much detail as possible, you can train yourself to eat healthier! Trust me; it doesn’t have to be meticulous; just enough to have a general idea of what you are consuming will help stay on track with what you are trying to accomplish. The more detail you can include, the more useful and valuable a resource it becomes!

Whenever I get an urge to overindulge, it is always nice to look back and see how far I have come and how "good" I have been.  Seeing all of the “good choices” I have made throughout the day and days before motivates me to NOT want to mess up my progress.

I know that staying on track is the only way of shaping your physique into the body of a bikini model with flat abs, a round butt and toned arms. By forming a new food journaling habit, you too can be well on your way to the body of your dreams!
